"Once they're all dead," I said.

"So how many are we expecting?" I said with a little irritation.

"Shouldn't be much more," Betsy said as we finished off five more.
"Marvel Girl?" I asked.
"I'm not picking up anything but us," she reported.
"X?"
"No more," she muttered. "Damn."
"Then that's it," I said. "Nice work."

"In no order," I said, getting a mental okay from the girls. "It's not lycra, it's clothing made from unstable molecules. They're assassins for an organisation known as the Hand. And we're X-Men."

"Alright," I said. "The Hand are an ancient organisation based in Japan. They're pros in dark magic and assissination, and many of their ninja's were resurrected from they're victims. As for the other one...for the most part, the X-Men are mutants fighting for a world that fears and hate them."

"Mutants?" I said with surprise, "As in proper no-nonsense natural as shit funky genetic code mutants?" "Yup." Doc said, though he gave me an odd look. "Cool." I commented, nodding. I saw a look pass between the girls, and i cracked a grin, "Believe me, when you live a life like mine, thats like... normal. Doesnt even factor on the wierdometer." I glanced at the one with the pink mark, wondering if she knew the true source of her physical strength.

"They don't find that sort of attitude very often," I said.
"They?"
"I'm 100% flatscan, normal human," I said. "Only one one the team. I'm rather proud of that."

"Normal?" I said with a smirk, "That i highly doubt." I could feel the power in him... maybe not magic, or energy like the girl wealds, but power non the less. "Tell me, when did you first notice the enhanced strength?" I suddenly asked the girl.

"When she knocked me off a cliff?" Rachel said smartly.
"Long story," I said at the girls look. "Basically, a Saurinid named Kaiden got into her head and made her think she was one of them, with her telekinesis, it went literally."
"But, yes, about that time," Betsy said. "There have been a few other things, though. My powers are stronger, my telepathy has returned and is more powerful than it was when I lost it. I was dead before that, though, so it may have happened earlier."

I raised my eyebrows with a slight smirk, "Right..."

"We should move back inside." I said, almost grinning, as i glanced around- we really didnt need the more unpleasant residence of the area to hear this. They gave me odd looks, but agreed to return to the bar. We sat at a table, and with a quick few words, i made absolutely sure noone else would hear our conversation. Then i looked round at the odd group and asked, "Do you known what a slayer is?"

"One girl in all the world, blah blah..." I said. The ladies looked at me as Rache and Betsy fixed our clothes. "What? I was raised by a vampire from thirteen. Wait, you're not saying..."
