Either she had something against cheerleaders, or...
Purple hair, purple eyes, maybe...
"Wouldn't know," I said. "Don't really have cheeleaders in high school in Oz. Teachers though... I swear, my fifth grade teacher was a praying mantis or something."
Subtle, Doc. Idiot.

"God yeah, wouldn't be the first time..." I trailed off and looked up, half caught and half aware that he had to know something. "Do you... No, I'm going to sound like a crazy person. Sounding like a crazy person? Not a good first impression," I said.

"Yes," i said, making sure the inflections of my voice told that both that I knew her question and the answer, then added for Ashley's sake, "Looking crazy isn't a good first impression. Which leaves me buggered as to why I'm riding a skateboard when i have no bloody idea how it's done."

I raised my eyebrows but didn't say anything. This would be a conversation for later, definitely.
"Aw, maybe you're just trying to look extra cool," I teased. "Impress everyone with your ability to ram into poles and other solid objects."

"Hey, i didn't actually crash, if you didn't notice," I shot at her. Thank God for Rogue and her slave driver like training.

"So you have already had an accident," I said. "Well I didn't see you until I walked into you, but I'm guessing that you nearly crashed into a solid object. Am I right?"

"Well," I said impressed, "that totally overrides the near crash if you got to do a cool handstand."

"I thought so," I said.
At that point the bell rang.
"Hell doth call me into it's depths," I said sadly. "Isuppose that means we get to class."

I sighed and nodded, turning to face the terror of school. I looked over. "Well, this is probably where I say goodbye then. Unless you're supposed to be joining me in the brain melting joy of English, I guess I'll see you later." I glanced at Ashley to see if she was listening. "We should definitely talk more," I added.

"He made a comment about my guardian i didn't appreciate," I said darkly as we entered teh school. "He's lucky i didn't beak his neck, but Rogue frowns on unwarranted killing."

(((I get to be Willowish figure!))) "Geek!"
"Nerd!"
Cheerleaders. I'd show them. The knowledge age was nigh, I knew it. I just had to be very quiet and act like a doormat until it came. Which would be relatively easy, considering I didn't really like socialising much. My average converstaions for a day went:
"Hey you!"
"Me?"
"Get out of my way!"
"oh."
I walked into my classroom, books clutched tightly in my pale hands. I had dirty blonde hair, and since I didn't go in the sun much, it was bordering on mousy brown. I sat down at my desk in the front corner of the room and began reading a book.

((Geh! Stupid time zones))
Ashley disappeared right before the bell rang. She hoped she didn't seem to rude, but the two were having a conversation and didn't want to interrupt. Ashley secretly hoped that she would meet the two again, they seemed to hate cheerleaders as much as she did. She took out her English notebook and started doodling on the cover, which was already covered in inky splots. She waited for the final bell to ring. "Man, I hate English. I already speak the language, why do I have to take it as a class?" Glancing around, making sure no one heard her little grumblings, she sighed.
