((That kinda sucks. I have almost no clue what StarGate is and I'm doing it. So now which slayer. Not Ricki cause she'd make all their live hell and Lisa, she'd be a good choice. Yeah. I think I'll have Lisa go.))
"I'll go," Lisa said after a moment.

"Wow," I muttered as we walked towards the 'Gate room. "Who woulda thought? A top secret facility hidden under NORAD?"

We followed the rest of the expedition into what the soldiers were calling 'the 'Gate Room', coming face to face with the Stargate itself, a giant ring decorated with strange symbols.
"Great googamooga," I muttered. "Now that's cool."

I gave Doc a weird look before looking at the Stargate.
((I'm mad at my dad. I was going through the DVDs when I found Stargate the one made in 92 with Rai and such. I was like well if I had known we had this I would have watched it instead of when it was on TV and I had missed the first half.))

I wanted to get closer. I wanted to look at it.
I'm not an archeologist or a scholar. I'm a tinkerer. I like knowing how things work. In this instance, we're talking a giant interplanetary gateway. I wanna touch it.
I stared at teh ring as teh head of the expedition started a speech. I didn't care. I was looking at teh 'Gate. When she stopped talking, the inner ring started spinning. I watched, enthralled, as it dialled off eight symbols.
Then, the centre of the ring was filled with a blue energy field, almost exploding out like someone had thrown a stone in a pool of water.
"Unbe-freakin'-lievable," I whispered in utter, total disbelief.
