Okay, after much wait, here's part 2.
Two days later. “Ow,” Buffy moaned. “Where am I? Wait a sec, I’m alive?” She sat up and looked around her. She was in some kind of hut, with enough food for a while. The sounds of wildlife could be heard outside, though admittedly, it didn’t sound like anything you’d see in a zoo. “Weird. What is this place?” She searched through the hut. Yep, enough food for at least two weeks and…was that a bow? Buffy picked up the familiar weapon, pulling back on the string. A bow, all right. A really old one, but serviceable. Arrows, too, and a hunting knife, small sword, all the makings for traps… Someone had gone to a lot of trouble to outfit this place. The fact that the weapons were all the right size for her to use made it clear whoever had left her here wasn’t coming back in a while. “So, I’m on my own, huh?” She said, feeling a pang in her heart. Wherever she was, one thing was for sure. She had to find a way home. Somehow.
***************************************************************
The Predators watched from their orbiting vessel as the girl began to organise her new home in a very non-human fashion. The knife was never off her person; the sword was close to her bed, the bow and arrows near the window. Food and other necessities were off the floor. The one thing they could see that didn’t make sense, however, was the open door. It seemed to be a fatal flaw. Until one of the animals decided it wanted to come in. The girl moved like lightening, almost too fast for their scanners to follow. The knife sliced against the tiger-like creature’s throat and it landed on the floor, it’s heat signature slowly disappearing. Only then did she close the door, and then began cutting the creature up for meat.
***************************************************************
Stupid, stupid, stupid, Buffy thought. This wasn’t Sunnydale, there were bound to be things other than vampires out there. She looked down at the creature, which looked like a sabre-tooth tiger. Sorry, Tigger, she thought as she closed the door. “Now what do I do with you?” She wondered out loud. The skin would make a nice throw rug, she decided. The meat…bait maybe. Unless she could eat it before it went off. “Think brain, think… wait. Giles’s survival lessons,” she looked through the supplies she’d been left. If she remembered correctly she had everything she’d need to cure the meat and preserve it til she was ready to eat it. “Thank you, Giles,” she felt a pang of sadness thinking of her mentor and father figure. Would she ever see him, or any of her friends, again? She didn’t know, but one thing was for damn sure.
She wasn’t giving up.
Six months later The young Predator wayched the human move. The last six months had done her good. No longer did she seem soft or weak. But appearances could be deceiving. She was still prey, and magnificent prey to boot. To think the Elder had ordered that none hunt her. That was foolish; there had never been a prey like her, and the hunter wondered if there ever would be again. At this moment, he was watching her as she checked her traps. Her every movement seemed carefully planned, even though by this point she was moving by instinct. Her eyes darted about, seemingly seeing everything at once. She had found his landing pod, and had laid so many traps around it even he was hesitant to approach. She acted more like hunter than prey. But she was still soft, still human. She would never be able to beat him in this game they were playing. She didn’t have it in her. In the end, her skull would be his trophy.

Buffy looked over her shoulder carefully. Her stalker was right there, like a sore that wouldn’t heal. She was getting tired of him always watching her. She did want to use the waterfall, but didn’t know if this guy was male, female or even human. She didn’t want to give him any ideas if it were a ‘he’. Or if it wasn’t, she added mentally. She did know, however, that her unseen ‘friend’ was her ticket out of this hellhole. Which was why this trap had to work. She kept a steady pace, leading her stalker to a small fissure she had found, easily big enough for her. Her ‘friend’ should fit too, given the size of his feet. After that, it would all be luck. As she made it to the fissure, she cautioned a look back. There it was, a faint waver in the air, like a heat mirage. She turned away and smiled. All right, you bastard. Let’s play. She slipped through the fissure, which led to an underground spring. She some under the water through a small crack she could barely fit though, which came out behind a nearby waterfall. It was then she got her first look at big and ugly.
The Yautja watched as the prey slipped down the crack and into the spring. Was she hiding? He didn’t know. She couldn’t know he was here, could she? He moved cautiously over to the crack, deactivating his stealth system as he looked down the hole. Nothing. No trace of her.
The hunter was near seven feet tall, wearing what could only be armour of some description, though not restricting in any way. On the far shoulder was a weapon of some sort, with a knife at its side and a short pole across it’s back. It was wearing a mask or some sort, so Buffy couldn’t see it’s face but by the hands it had, she was guessing it wasn’t human. She watched carefully, not making a move, as it slipped down the hole. Then, and only then, did she move. She had been planning this for a week. Water proofing her bow, ensuring the wood she had used was strong enough. Now, it was time to see if her planning was wasted. She stood in the shallow water she had been crouching in, her bow in hand from where she’d picked it up in the tunnel. She nocked a bow and launched it, cutting the rope that had held the wooden cage she had prepared for this. It was solid, Slayer strength, alone with no axe, couldn’t get through it. She was hoping that meant the creature couldn’t get out as it slammed in place. Now all she had to do was convince it to give her a ride.
The hunter looked up as the cage slammed down around the crack. A trap! And he’d fallen for it. This was truly magnificent prey. He watched as she walked out of the bushes. She was wet, and the Predator immediately realized what had happened. Incredible, but she had made one mistake, the same one he had with her.
“So,” Buffy said slowly, not really expecting an answer to her question. “Can I get a ride?”
The creature looked up at her growled, then flipped it shoulder weapon towards her. Three dots appeared on her chest. “Oh shit!” The jumped to one side as the cage exploded, reduced to splinters. “Great. Now we have to do this the hard way,” the creature looked at her as it climbed out of the fissure. “The…hard…way…” it growled. “Great,” she muttered again. “Demonic parrot. Just what I needed to make my life even better,” the creature said nothing, pulling out the pole and extending it to a spear. “Nice. I want one. Can I have yours?” Again, nothing was said. The creature made a motion away from him. “You want me to run? Okay, obviously, you haven’t been watching very well. I don’t run,” she lifted her foot slightly, pulling up the sword that she had hidden earlier that day. “I fight,” with that, she charged, not expecting to get it easy. She was right. The hunter was as strong as he looked, and more agile than she had thought. Her sword rang against his spear, sending out sparks. She kept up the attack. Months of surviving had honed her skills to a point she had never been before. As she fought, she noticed little things, the way her opponent moved, and how it defended itself. She took a small nick to the arm, but she accepted it, using it to learn something. For an hour they fought, though for Buffy, it felt like an eternity. In that time, she’d learnt what she needed. She struck out with a fist, getting her opponents attention, then struck out at his side, burying her blade deep before pulling it back and stepping away, panting slightly. “So,” she said, breathing heavily. “About that lift.”
Since i've got a little bit of this to go beofre you guys catch up...
The Yautja was dumbstruck. Not only had she survived some of his best moves, she had cut deep into his side. The preys power was unmatched by anything he had faced in his life. It was incredible, a hunt to be proud of, to be remembered in song. Surely the Elder realised this. The hunter retreated into the woods using his cloaking device and natural agility to stay ahead of her. This hunt would obviously take far more observation than he had first realised. Far more.
Buffy followed the hunter carefully, following the trail of blood it left behind it, watching for tell tale signs of it doubling back, or even moving through the under brush. Not far back, it had taken to the trees, but still, there was a blood trail for her to follow. “Come one, Big Unfriendly Giant,” she whispered. “Buffy’s not going to hurt you. Again. I just need a lift home, that’s all.”
There was no sound from it. Buffy wondered if it even understood what she was saying. She thought about earlier, though, about how it copied her words and decided it probably did, or was at least able to understand, given time. Which meant it was sentient. But was it a demon, or something else entirely?
She was following his blood trail! She was…incredible. For the first time, the hunter doubted his thoughts on hunting. This must have been what the Elder saw in her, her power, her instinct, and her warrior’s strength. However, there was nothing more for it. He would have to finish this…
It was at that point that a ship lowered into the clearing just past them. He winced, knowing what this meant. The Elder. This would not end well.
“Wow,” Buffy muttered. “That’s impressive. I also get the feeling you didn’t call that down,” the creature was silent. “Let me guess, you’re in big trouble, right?” the Hunter looked at her. “Big…trouble…” “Oh goody,” Buffy muttered as the ship opened, releasing more of the hunters. “My life sucks,” one of them, older if the amount of scars on his body were any indication, stepped up to the hunter and began what Buffy could only guess was one of the hugest examples of a kid getting chewed out by his dad she was going to witness. Glad I’m not him, she thought. Then she noticed one of the other Hunters glaring at her. Like she was prey. She turned to him, walked right up, showing she was precisely half his size and said simply “You want something, ugly? You wanna test yourself? Go for it. But I want out of this hellhole.”
The Hunter stepped forward, as if to accept her challenge. Buffy’s glared at him, lowering her body into a fighting stance. At that point, Scar (as she named the older one) stepped between them, growling at the other hunter. “So, Scar want’s a go instead, huih?” She said. “Fine by me. All I want is a lift outta here,” Scar looked at her, then did something unexpected. “Get…on…board,” he said. “We…leave…” “Yes,” Buffy hissed thankfully, walking past them without fear. “Just drop me off at earth. You know where that is, right?”
“Not…yet,” Scar said. Buffy glared at him. “First…train. Proof…you…Yautja.”
“What?” She asked. “Proof…you…Pred…a…tor.”
