I've talked about this. Now I'm finally releasing it. Buffy/Predator/Aliens. ;D
I own nothing but the warped and twisted world that makes up my mind.
Another world
2002.
The Yautja gathered around the Elders home as the blue light shot through the roof, opening in the sky. They watched as a small ‘oomahn’ fought what seemed to be another ‘oomahn’ but much stronger. The weaker one, the prey, used everything at her disposal, including a doppelganger until the stronger one was pushed back, transforming into a weaker male. The Yautja roared their approval. This was prey worthy of a great hunt.
In his home, the Elder sat before a blue crystal, a trophy from many hunts ago that he had taken from a large, horned prey. The crystal was acting as a bridge, so they could watch what was happening. Why, he did not know. He did know one thing.
The small oomahn would make a fine trophy.
And then, she proved that she was no prey.
Earth
Buffy looked at the kindly doctor in front of her, the vessel that held Glory, the Hellgod that had opened the portal above them using her sister. The fact that the portal had opened meant she was to late. Now there was only one thing to be done.
“Why didn’t you help her?” Buffy demanded accusingly. Ben lowered his head.
“She said, that once she was home, there’d be no need for me to go with her,” he said. “I’d be free. Do you know what it’s been like for me? Every time my life seemed to be on track, she’d come out and wreck everything. I just wanted her gone.”
“At the cost of my sister?” Buffy ranted, anger getting the best of her as she picked him up. “News flash, Ben. That portal is going to cause the end of everything we know. There isn’t going to be a world for you to be free in.”
“No,” Ben breathed. “She promised…”
“You idiot!” Buffy screamed, throwing him back. Ben gasped in shock as he was impaled on a piece of pipe. Buffy ran off, not registering what she’d done. There was one chance.
Yautja homeworld
The Elder watched on in interest. The girl had killed the vessel, ending the other one as well. She was no ordinary prey. That was certain. She had proved she was capable of far more.
He continued to watch as she climbed up the crude tower to the smaller girl. They exchanged words and then, surprisingly, the warrior, for she could be nothing but, threw herself from the tower. As she passed through the swirling cloud of light below her, the gem flashed a brilliant blue. When the light cleared, the Elder look at his feet in shock.
The warrior he had been watching had appeared in his home. Bloody, injured, but alive.
This was no ordinary prey, he thought again. It would be interesting to see what would be done with her.
