It was two weeks since Tommy had joined the gang, and he was pulling more than his fare share of the burden.
After two patrols, Buffy had grudgingly accepted that he could patrol by himself, after he not only fought with, but staked, two vamps at once. He then talked the non-Slayer members of the gang to allow him to train them. Xander picked up on it well enough that Buffy allowed him to patrol with Tommy.
The mystery of teh Power Coin remained a mystery. Dimitria's only answer being 'only that which activated teh Coin possibly re-energise it', leaving Tommy doubly confused. After all, Rita was teh one that powered it up originally.
Right?
*********************************************
Buffy watched followed Tommy carefully. There was something about him that made her curious. Alright, she could buy that he'd been training since he wwas five, he was good. Slayer good in fact. She could even buy that he'd had run ins with some of the Ranger's bad guys in Angel Grove.
But she couldn't shake the feeling that she got from him. That there was something wrong. And she was going to get to the bottom of it.

"Anyone here?" Tommy asked as he walked into the Library.
"Just us, Oliver," Buffy said, walking out of the stacks. "I have some questions. There's some things about you that don't add up. I want some answers."
"I'd like to, Buffy," Tommy said. "'Cause I'm pretty sure I know what you're questions are going to be. But I can't answer them."
"Why not?" Buffy asked.
"They aren't just my questions. I tell anyone, some good friends of mine might be in trouble."
"The we have a situation," Buffy said. "Because i really don't..." at that moment they were interupted as bronze plated Pirahnatrons appeared out of nowhere, complete with Elgar.
"Alright, that power source is around here somewhere, you fin heads," Elgar said. "Start...huh? You?"
"Welcome to my nightmare," Tommy muttered, dropping into a fighting stance.Buffy stood next to him, dropping to a stance of her own.
"Friends of yours?" She asked.
"Annoying acquiantence," Tommy corrected. "What are you doing here, Elgar?"
"Aunty D sent me to find some power source around here," Elgar said. "Instead, i find the Red...whoa better make that FORMER Red Ranger."
"Big mouth," Tommy muttered. Buffy looked at him in shock.
"Well, that answers my questions,' she said, turning her attention back to Elgar. "As thanks, i'll give you a chance to walk...or beam out of here."
"How 'bout i just take you two to Aunty D," Elgar said. "Get 'em!"
"Great," Tommy muttered as the Pirahnatrons attacked. "Stay behind me."
"Uh, no," Buffy said. "If you can take these guys, it shouldn't be too hard for me to beat 'em."
"Keep thinking that," Tommy said as the Pirahnatrons reached them.

"Yo, yo, yo, yo, yo! Rangers, we got ourselves a situation!"
"What's up, Alpha?" Thomas J Jarvis Johnson, or TJ, and the other Turbo Rangers gathered behind the small robot quickly.
"it's Tommy," Justin, the Blue Ranger gasped. "Who's that with him?"
"I don't know but there surrounded," Cassie, Tubo Pink, said, worried for their predecessor.
"Alpha, get us there," TJ ordered.
"I can't," Alpha VI told him. "There right on top of the Hellmouth. We can't teleport there."
"Aside from that, Rangers, you're powers would not work," Dimitria told them from the Power Tube.
"Why not?" Carlos, Turbo Green, asked.
"There's only one Power that qworks on the Hellmouth," Alpha informed them. "And that's because the Coins were forged over the Hellmouth."
"The Power Coins?" Justin asked. Tj looked at the screen.
"There has to be something we can do," the Red Ranger said.
"Can't we just go in and at least help out without morphing?" Ashley, the Yello Ranger asked. "I mean they're only..." She was cut of by the familiar klaxon alarms. Alpha rushe dto eh control panels, followed closely by Justin. Due to his young age, the Blue Ranger sometimes felt like he didn't belong with his older colleagues in the field. One the console, however, only Apha could equal him.
"Alpha, what do these reading mean?" The youngest Ranger asked. He'd never seen the like. It was like something was boosting the Morphin' Grid.
"Yo, yo, YO!" Alpha gasped. "there's been an influx of Green Power into the Grid. But that's impossible...unless..."
"Unless what?" The Rangers looked at him expectantly.
M-51 Galaxy. The home of Master Vile.
"NO!" Lord Zedd, fromerly the Lord of Evil, now deposed, growled in fury. hiw wife, Rita, was just as annoyed. "It cannot be!"
"Hey, what's wrong, Ed?" Rita's brother, Rito, asked.
"the Green Power Coin," Zedd growled. that was impossible. there was no source on Earth that could charge it to full power again.
Sunnydale
"What the?" Tommy gasped, pulling the Power Coin from his pocket and taking it out of it's case. It was glowing a brilliant green.
"Hey, what's that?" Buffy asked, looking at his hand. she reached dout to touch it.
"Wait...!"
"This is the last one."
"Are you sure about this, old friend. I don't think forging a coin over a Hellmouth is a good idea."
"I understand. But it is the only power in the universe capable of power the Dragon Zord. You know this."
"Why you insisted on creating a Zord that powerful is beyond me."
"It will be needed. Is she ready?"
"I am, Lord Zordon," Zordon looked over at teh SLayer, Dulcea and then to his armoured companion.
"It's ready, Zordon," he said. "I hope you know what you're doing, my old friend."
"So do I, Ninjor," Zordon whispered. "So do I."
"What the hell was that?" Buffy demanded.
"I think," Tommy began. "We just witnessed teh forging of thie Power Coin."
"And that means..." as if answering her words, the green glow shaped around the coin, becomin, for Tommy at least, a very familiar device.
"A Morpher?" He whispered, remembering Dimitria's riddle. "Look's like you were right on the money," he looked at Elgar, drawing his Morpher behind his back. Go time.
"It's Morphin' Time! Dragon Zord!"

Like the flashback? ;D I thought adding Dulcea was a nice touch, since this follows the series and not the movie.

"Alright, get that camera out of my face," Buffy muttered, blinking her eyes. As things came into focus, she saw that either Tommy wasn't standing in front of her, or ha'd done a quick change.
For the figure now standing there was dressed in what seeme to be green spandex. His hands were covered in white glovese, with a green zig zag pattern along the edges, which went about three quarters of the way up his forearms. Hiw boots were smilr in design. Around his waist was a white belt, suspended from which was a dagger. Buffy coud also see the back of a gold shield she presumed covered his chest as well, with matching gold bands on his upper arm. Completing teh ensemble was a green helmet.
"Oliver, that better be you under there," Buffy said.
"It's me," was teh answer.
"Well, I just keep getting answers tonight, don't I?" Buffy remarked. "So, are we taking care of these guys, or not?"
"Allow me," the Green Ranger said. "It's been awhile."
"Be my guest," Buffy said. Tommy nodded and charged in. Buffy knew Tommy was a good fighter. Anyone who could take a couple of vampires without powers had some skill. But the level of athletic ability and pure martial skill the Green Ranger was capable of made that pale in comparison. Whether it was a return to costume, or even jusat an improvement because of it, Tommy Oliver was a sight to behold, and Buffy didn't mind admitting she was a little jealous.
It didn't take long before the bronze armoured warriors were all on their backs, leaving the pale creature with the sword made of cards, Elgar, Tommy had called him.
"Well, uh..." the creature began. "Nice threads you got there. Whoops, gotta go, bye!" With that, he vanished, leaving Buffy alone with the Green Ranger.
"Power Down!" Tommy said. The costume vanished, leaving him oncem ore in his red Tshirt and denim jeans. "Guess I better start wearing green again," he muttered, turning to face her. "Now, I believe you had some questions."
"Yeah," Buffy said. "Let's start with 'where do I get one of those'?"
