Elsewhere. Tommy stopped his Zeo Cycle suddenly as a familiar tune floated through the air. The other Rangers stopped around him on Shark Fin Cycles and Galaxy Gliders. “What’s that?” Marie asked. Kimberly, mounted behind Tommy, had to smile. “Deep fried monster to go,” she said, stepping off the bike. Tommy nodded. “We’re going to need some bigger transportation guys. Red Zeo BattleZord, online!” “Astro Megazord…” “Mega Winger…” “…Online!” “Alright,” Jason said as the other Dino Ranger gathered around him, “Let’s remind these guys why you shouldn’t invade the earth. We need Dino Zord power, now!”
Battlefield. “He’s even uglier up close,” Karone muttered from atop the Dragon Zord. She played a tune on her dagger, ordering the Zord to fire a barrage of missiles, rocking the creature. The Delta Megazord capitalized, hitting the creature hard. “How are you doing, Karone?” Andros asked from the ground. “Remind me again why I worked for these guys?” Karone asked as the Dragon Zord’s tail slashed at the monster. “You didn’t have a choice?” Andros offered. Another explosion rocked the beast. “What…?” “Thought you guys might need a hand,” Zhane sent as the Astro Megazord and Mega Winger arrived. “Nice timing, guys,” Andros said as he joined the other Space Rangers in the Astro Megazord. “We didn’t come alone,” Ashley said, pointing to the arrival of the Zeo BattleZord and the Dinozords. “That’s a lot of Zords,” Karone gasped. “Welcome to the team,” Jason sent to her. “Karone, right?” “Y – yeah,” she answered. “Mind holding this guy off a few minutes?” Karone smiled, Dagger held firmly in her hand. “Consider it done.” “Alright guys,” Jason said as the Zords came to a stop. “Power up your crystals, and let’s bring ‘em together!” “Now there’s something I thought I’d never hear again,” Zack remarked. “What exactly does this do?” Marie asked. “Watch and learn,” Zack assured as the five pushed their crystals forward. All of Angel Grove watched as the first Megazord seen on earth came together once more. “Okay, this is so cool,” Marie said in the Megazord cockpit. “No one told me this thing had FM.” “Make it stop,” Zack joked. “Make it stop.” “Kim always commented on the stereo,” Aisha explained. “Time to join the party,” Jason said, urging the mighty war machine forward. “Oh wow,” Karone muttered. “And here I thought Rita’s complaints were just over exaggerations,” two giant fists collided with the monster. “My turn,” the Dragon Zord swung it’s huge tail, drill cutting through the creature before it. “Nice shot Karone,” Andros congratulated her as the Mega Winger and Delta Megazord lined up their respective blasters. “Can I help?” A tune flowed from her Dagger as the Dragon Zord prepared it’s launchers. “Wait for me,” Tommy said as his Zord got into position, Gatling blaster brought forth. “On my mark,” Andros ordered. “Fire!” The creature was near impossible to see, hidden under a shower of sparks. “Alright, guys,” Jason said. “We need the Power Sword.” “Astro Megazord Sabre, online!” Andros ordered. The two war machines lined up, ready for to finish it. “Double team?” Jason suggested. “Let’s do it,” Andros said. The two massive weapons came together and two beams of energy sliced forth, destroying the creature. “Some thing’s never change,” Jason said. “They’re always overdramatic at the end,” Tommy agreed.

Astro Megaship. Karone couldn’t believe how accommodating everyone had been. Zhane seemed particularly friendly, and Karone had to admit he wasn’t that bad looking. Tommy had been the biggest help, his attitude of ‘been there, done that’ making her realise that her situation wasn’t that unique. “Our Ranger careers pretty much started the same,” Tommy had commented. True enough. Both had started evil, and as the Green Ranger. Kimberly had been an almost instant companion and friend, showing her around Angel Grove. Those citizens who recognised her had been suspicious, and she didn’t blame them. Her two biggest civilian advocates, however, were the biggest surprise. “If the Power Rangers say we can trust her, then that’s fine by us,” Bulk had proclaimed. “Yeah,” Skull had agreed. Their trust in Karone had totally blown the Rangers away. Karone accepted their friendship, however, and Bulk and Skull trusted her with their biggest secret in return. The true identities of the Power Rangers. “We’ve known about Tommy and the others since Divatox kidnapped us,” Bulk had explained. “Once we had that it wasn’t to hard to figure the others out.” “I figured the pattern,” Skull had said proudly. Karone was so blown away with their trust in her, despite the fact that she already knew, that she trusted them with her identity. Needless to say, the two took it in stride. Apparently they’d been close to figuring it out themselves. The other Rangers, however, were totally amazed. “They know?” Tommy gasped in shock. “Apparently they remember seeing Jason and Kimberly on the Island of Muranthas,” Karone explained. “And they saw Tommy take his helmet off trying to snap them out of Divatox’s control. After their brains were clear, they figured the rest out.” “And kept it to themselves,” Aisha muttered, remembering the amount of trouble they had had with Bulk and Skull trying to figure out who they were. “Apparently they’re smarter than we thought,” Billy said dryly. “Translate as not as thick as posts,” Zack joked. One week after Karone was freed, the other X-Men showed up. Needless to say, Andros was not impressed. He really should have kept it better hidden.

Titanus (the carrier Zord for the Dino, Ninja and Shogun Zords) will also be making a comeback, as will the Ninja and Shogun Zords. I'm not to sure about the thunder zords, though.

“He doesn’t like us too much,” Kurt noted as the Rangers and X-Men finished moving the last of the equipment, including scanners and other various specialized systems, into the house the Professor had purchased. Bulk and Skull were helping, since they knew all their secrets. Kurt was referring to Andros, who had an annoying tendency of shooting annoyed looks at the mutants. “We’re not Rangers,” Bobby said flatly. “He thinks we’re just civvies.” “Vell, then, let’s prove otherwise, mein freund,” Kurt said with an evil grin. “Come on, guys,” Marie begged. “He makes it hard enough as is, bein’ the newest Ranger and all.” “My girl the superhero,” Bobby smiled, hugging her tight. “Don’t worry, Marie. We won’t hurt him. We’ll just embarrass him a bit.” “Count me in,” Jubilee said, stalking towards them. “We shouldn’t be here my ass. Kim’s one of us, so’s Marie. He can…” “Vell, zen,” Kurt said. “Let us begin,” he vanished in a ‘bamf’ of brimstone, reappearing on the box Andros was carrying. “Gutentach, mein herr. Need some help?” The reaction was instant. He dropped the box. Kurt flipped off nimbly, landing in front of him. “What was that?” Andros demanded. “Don’t mind me,” Kurt said affably. “Just showing off,” Andros took a step forward and slipped on a sheet of ice. Marie slapped her face. This was not happening. “He needed to cool off,” Iceman said. “What’s going on?” Tommy asked, walking in and seeing a fuming Andros on the ground. “Don’t ask me,” Marie said, walking out. “Ah don’t wanna know.” “Those…” Andros fumed, getting to his feet. “Perhaps you’ll learn a lesson, mein herr,” Kurt said. “Not everyone needs to morph.” “He has a point Andros,” Tommy said. “I sat down with Kim and asked exactly what these people are capable of. Any one of them can handle themselves in a fight.” “These aren’t mutants, Tommy,” Andros said. “I agree,” Tommy said. “But do you really think a Quantrons reaction to getting hit by lightening would be any different to anything else’s? Because that’s what Storm does. She controls the weather.” “Ya wanna see what I can do?” Jubilee said. Several small, colourful explosions erupted at the tip of her fingers. “How hard do ya want them?” “You’ve seen what we can do,” Bobby continued. “And we have our own reasons for being here. Rumour has it Magneto’s on his way here, for some reason. So tell me, Andros, could you handle your Zords being turned against you as they’re controlled through Magneto’s magnetic field? Because I get the feeling those baby’s aren’t non magnetic.” “Besides that, mein herr,” Kurt added. “Kimberly and Rogue are ours, vhezzer Marie’s powers still work or not. X-Men don’t abandon their own.” “Guys!” Kitty cried as she ran through the wall. “DECA picked up on some large magnetic readings coming our way.” “Magneto,” Bobby guessed. “There’s also a huge number of Quantrons being led by Ecliptor and they’re all going to the same place. The old Command Centre ruins.” “What could be left there?” Andros wondered allowed. “The Power Chamber,” Tommy said suddenly. “I thought that was destroyed,” Andros asked. Tommy shook his head. “After the Machine Empire was taken care of, Zordon and Alpha repaired the main Command Centre and moved us back up there,” he explained. “That’s what Divatox destroyed, but the Power Chamber’s still in one piece.” “But how could they know that?” Kitty asked. “I don’t… oh no,” Tommy said suddenly. “The Zeo Crystal’s still down there. They must have picked up on it somehow.” “If Dark Spectre gets his hands on the Zeo Crystal, we’re done,” Andros said. “If Magneto gets there first, you can kiss anyone without an X-Factor goodbye,” Bobby added. “We need to work together on this.” “Agreed,” Andros said. “We’ll handle Ecliptor.” “I’ll get Storm, tell her what’s happening,” Kitty said. “We’ll handle Magneto.” “You guys better take Peter, Kim and Logan,” Kurt suggested. “Zhe metal in zheir bodies vould only make zhem a hindrance.” “Right,” Tommy agreed, leaving Andros nowhere to argue. “Good luck guys.” “You too.”

Magneto’s route. “We had best make haste,” Magneto said. “I sense a large amount of metal heading to the mountain. We must assume we have been discovered.” “Nothin’ we can’t handle, boss,” Sabretooth growled. “If it’s them Power Ranger’s we’ll just shred ‘em.” “Not to mention the Zords they will undoubtedly have standing ready,” Mystique added. Pyro stood to one side, flicking his lighter. “Could be their enemies,” he suggested. “What then?” “We try to deal,” Magneto said. “After all, the enemy of my enemy is my friend.” “Not with these guys,” The Brotherhood turned to face the X-Men. “They’ll just grind you dust.” “Bobby,” Pyro said with false friendship. “Changed you’re mind about humans yet?” “Stopped being an ass yet?” Jubilee sneered. “I see you’re missing some people,” Magneto noted. “What a pity. Avalanche?” “On it,” the ground began to shake at their feet as Storm headed to the air, followed by one of the newest members of the team, the winged Angel. “Then we do this the hard way,” Storm said as the sky clouded over.
Ecliptor’s approach. “Look’s like Storm’s in a righteous mood,” Logan grinned. “We should be there helping them,” Piotr Nicholiavich Rasputin grumbled. “Easy there, Petey,” Kim said. “There’s nothing we could do against Magneto. At least here, we can help.” “Here they come,” Andros said. The Rangers stood ready, already morphed. “What’re those grey things?” Marie asked. “Putties,” Jason gasped. “And Tengas.” “Looks like Rita and Zedd decided to take over for me,” Karone grumbled. “That means we get reacquainted with some old friends,” Kim said with a grin, unsheathing her claws. “Rangers,” Ecliptor growled. “Get out of the way.” “Hello, Tommy boy,” Goldar chuckled. “Look what the tornado dragged in,” Kim sneered. “Ecliptor, stop,” Karone said, stepping forward. “Princess?” Exliptor gasped. “So it’s true.” “Don’t do this,” Karone begged. “I don’t want to fight you.” “This is the path you chose,” Ecliptor said, though deep inside, he wasn’t sure if he could raise a hand against her. “Attack.” “Yeah!” Goldar cheered, rushing forward. “Here we go,” Logan muttered, unsheathing his own claws. Peter triggered his transformation into living metal. “Da,” Colossus said. “For the earth?” “Sounds good to me,” Kimberly said as the three X-Men charged forward. “We better move before they hog all the fun,” Zack said as the Rangers followed. “’Scuse me,” Kimberly said, cleaving Quantron’s and Putties in two. “Pardon me, outta the way. Goldar, hey, how’s things? Still an asshole I see.” “So, the Powerless Ranger wants to fight,” Goldar sneered, bringing his sword down. The blade clanged off Kimberly’s claws. “Oh right, you probably haven’t heard,” she said with a grin. “I’ve been through some changes. I prefer Wildcat now,” she struck out with both hands, one shot blocked, the other raking against Goldar’s armour. “Gah!” The ape like creature cried. Mean while, Ecliptor and Logan were settling down for round two. “So, here we are again,” Ecliptor said. Wolverine grinned maniacally. “Yer armour a little tougher this time, freak?” He sneered. “We’ll see,” Ecliptor said, charging forward. Meanwhile, Colossus was fighting side by side with the newest Rangers. “These creatures do not know how to stay down,” he complained, beating a Putty into a pile of clay. “Yeah, they’re brainless,” Karone remarked. “But they’re good for frustrations.” “Da,” Colossus agreed, moving like a steamroller through the crowd, Putties, Tenga and Quatrons flying everywhere. “Damn,” Zack remarked. “He’s like a mini Zord.” “Yeah,” Marie agreed. “Colossus comes across as gentle as ya like, but threaten somethin’ he cares about, like his home, and he goes metal as anything.” “I don’t know what’s worse. The amount of Rangers or those bad puns,” Rita complained, flying past them. “She’s heading for the Command Centre!” Andros remarked. Kimberly looked up at her. One chance. “Colossus,” she yelled, blocking Goldar’s strike. “Fast Ball Special. With anyone!” “Da,” the metal warrior said, grabbing the nearest Ranger, who happened to be Zhane. “Wha…?” the Silver Ranger began. “Draw your weapon, tovarisch,” Colossus advised, drawing back his arm. “We will have but one shot at this,” Zhane looked up at Rita on her cycle and nodded. “Got ya,” he said. “Super Silveriser!” The combined gun/blade weapon appeared in his hand in blaster mode as Colossus threw him through the air. Zhane fired repeatedly, getting Rita’s attention. “What was that?” She demanded, turning just in time to see Zhane switch his weapon to blade mode. “Uh oh.” “Goin’ down!” Zhane remarked, slashing his weapon through Rita’s Bicycle. The witch fell to the unforgiving earth, her troops gathering around her. “Pesky Rangers,” Rita spat. “A pity no one’s guarding the Zeo Crystal,” she cackled as they vanished. “What the hell’s that supposed to mean?” Logan demanded. “Zedd,” Tommy said suddenly, summoning his Zeo Cycle and taking off at high speed.

X-Men. Avalanche flew backwards as Storms lightening bolt struck the ground in front of him. Angel, meanwhile, flew down, picking up Toad and dropping him on top of Sabretooth. “Yer dead!” The mutant roared in anger. “Looks pretty lively to me, fuzzball,” Jubilee snarked, raining plasmoid spheres down on the feral mutant. Sabretooth roared in rage, only to find himself trapped in one of Storm’s whirlwinds, flying through the air. “Why did you send him towards the Command Centre?” Iceman asked, freezing Toad’s feet to the ground. “I just got a message from Kimberly,” Storm said. “Someone’s already there. I figured Sabretooth could keep him busy.” “Ouch,” Iceman winced.
Command Centre. “I’m gonna kill that witch!” Sabretooth roared, climbing to his feet. “She’s gonna give me that scream she owes me and then some! I’ll…” “Please, will you cease that incessant whining?” a voice roared over him. “Honestly, must you humans be so dramatic?” “Who the hell are you?” Sabretooth roared, turning on what could only be described as a walking muscle. “Who I am is no consequence, human,” the creature said. “All you need to know is that you are in my way. And people who get in my way have a tendency of dying.” “We got somethin’ in common, freak,” Sabretooth growled. “But I ain’t no stinkin’ human. I’m better than they are,” with a roar, he charged forwards, his claws scraping across the creatures Z-topped staff. He looked at the marks left in the metal. “Well, it seems you’re a lot more than I expected,” he said, spreading his feet to shoulder width apart. “Allow me to introduce myself. I am Lord Zedd, Lord of all Evil. The Zeo Crystal will be mine and mine alone. Whether you live or… actually, I think I might just kill you!” “Give it yer best shot ugly,” Sabretooth challenged. “Plenty a’ people’ve tried an’ failed. Yer just one more.” “Believe me, furball,” Zedd sneered. “I’m much different to anyone you’ve face before. Unlike them, I am invincible!” He fired of bolt of energy, but was surprised when the mutant dodged it easily. “If that’s the best ya’ve got, yer in for a bumpy ride,” Sabretooth roared, charging at Zedd. “Fool,” Zedd said, backhanding Sabretooth across the plateau. “It will take more than you to defeat me.” “Keep yappin’, freak,” Sabretooth muttered, getting to his feet. “I’m just getting’ warmed up!” He charged again, this time managing to score a hit off Zedd. Several, actually. Zedd didn’t exactly sit there and take it, however, giving as good as he got. After several minutes of trading blows, the two backed off. “Most impressive,” Zedd said. “I’m surprised you’re still standing.” “What can I say?” Sabretooth sneered, breathing a little heavier. “I’m stubborn.” “Not too mention ugly.” “Who said that?” Sabretooth growled. “That voice,” Zedd matched that with a growl of his own. “It can’t be!” “Wanna bet, Zedd?” Tommy said, leaping towards them, firing his Zeo pistol. Explosions rained around the two as he landed. “Tommy boy, long time, no see,” Zedd sneered. “How long has it been?” “Not long enough, Zedd,” Tommy said darkly. “Neither of you are getting the Zeo Crystal.” “And you’re going to stop the both of us alone?” “Zedd sneered. “Not that I’d need help taking you out.” “Speak for yerself, red,” Sabretooth snarled. “Great, Zedd times two, just what I needed,” Tommy moaned. “You guys going to be comparing sizes the whole time or what?”
